Flux Formation:

Exploring static movement

A FASHION COLLECTION THAT EXPLORES THE IDEA OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND ITS ABILITY TO CAPTURE A SENSE OF ENERGY AND MOTION WHILE CONFINED TO A STILL IMAGE.

Flux Formation, a collection exploring the idea of static movement.  This collection was inspired by the feeling of energy moving around the body while the body remains still. I stared exploring this idea by photographing the inside and collaging images of the London Tube/Subway tunnels. From these collages I drew out color stories and textures. I later began deconstructing motion and sports photography to create conceptual shapes and silhouettes.

I also often experiment with unconventional materials to create new forms and silhouettes

3D with materials such as  card stock, PVC,  waxed cotton, and neoprene.
